Joyce T. Welke (nee Charvat), born 01/12/34, passed away peacefully on 12/14/19. Beloved wife of the late Walter; loving mother of Mary Therese, Lydia Wright (Billy) and Christopher (Sandi); devoted grandmother of Zachary Wright (Kaitlin Edgerly), Jack and Donovan Welke. 'Mom' to Ruth Burk (Bob Parham). Dear sister of Joan Moore (Jack, deceased), the late Patricia Hauser (Ralph) and Mary Ellen Passalaqua (Tony, deceased). Much loved aunt and cousin to many. She loved The Lord, her family, music, watching Indians games and classic movies. Joyce had a grateful heart and always put others before herself and her kindness and love will be her lasting legacy! A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 21, at 10:00 a.m. at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 16271 Pearl Road, Strongsville. Private burial will be held at a later date.
