I am so sorry for your loss please accept my sincere condolences at this time. Something that I have found to be a great source of comfort are the thoughts expressed in the Bible at John 5:28,29 where we see that there is going to be a resurrection of those who have died. Also at Revelation 21:4 we see that God is going to eliminate all of the causes for why we deal with sorrow,pain and even death itself. Just Friday 12/30/2011, your's and Joe's name came up in a converstion we were having with State Aux. Madam President Mary Miller. Then on Monday we received the news of Joe's passing. No words can express on how we feel. Know that he is now pain free and he will suffer no more.

I had the pleasure of visiting with Joe Sr. a few times. The talks we shared were enjoyable. Joe made me feel happy and his since of humor was a blessing. He impressed me as a strong and honorable man. His character and focus on doing what was right shown through in the way he communicated and lived. Joe had an adventurous spirit and lived life full throttle. He didn't seem to be concerned with public opinion, rather taking and imparting joy from daily muses and personal interests.
I recall sharing a diner with Joe and being impressed with his wide knowledge base. He was just as comfortable speaking about the food on his plate as he was global economics. He spoke with a rare quality, a poise that made everyone around him comfortable and pleasantly entertained.
Joe, I thank you for the privilege, brief as it may have been, of spending some time with you. Enjoy your new Heavenly, glorious body! I know you'll love getting answers to all of the many questions and curiosities you had.##imported-begin##John T. Blubaugh##imported-end##
