Joseph "Joe" P. Pierce's Obituary
Joseph “Joe” P. Pierce, son of late Eugene and Mildred (nee Feledic) Pierce, older brother to Tom Pierce, partner to Nancy Pierce, stepfather to Paige Pierce, and Taylor (Patrick) Nespor; and grandfather to Julia and Jacob passed away at the age of 61 on Friday, October 20, 2023, at Southwest Hospice in Strongsville, Ohio.
Born on August 1, 1962, in Berea, Joe attended Berea High School and graduated in the class of 1981. Upon graduation he attended Tri-C where he obtained his Associate Degree in Emergency Medical Technologies.
Joseph proudly served the City of Cleveland for 30 years with Cleveland EMS. His life's passion was to live out the EMT Oath "to conserve life, alleviate suffering, promote health, do no harm, and encourage the quality and equal availability of emergency medical care."
When he wasn't working you could find Joe at home watching the Alabama Crimson Tide football team, and spending time with this his family and grandchildren who meant the absolute world to him.
VISITATION will be held on WEDNESDAY, October 25, from 3pm – 7pm at Jardine Funeral Home, 15822 Pearl Road, Strongsville. A MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will follow on THURSDAY, October 26, at 10am at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 16271 Pearl Road, Strongsville.
