JOSE E. MUNGUIA, 87 of Strongsville passed away Thursday, April 25, 2019. Loving husband of Maria for 49 years; beloved father of Carlos, Ricardo (Denise), Martha White (David), and Lydia Cortez (Carlos); Grandfather of Amber, Desiree, Enrique, Mia, Michael, Brian, Kevin, Angel, Cecilia, David, Jose, Vanessa, Karla, and Tanya; great grandfather of 14. Jose was a devout Catholic all of his life and worked for the National Bank of El Salvador as an accountant before emigrating to the United States in 1970. Here, he began a career with United Airlines until his retirement many years later. Jose loved to sing, dance, play music and most of all loved his family. He was very spirited and always loved to be dressed up wherever he went. VISITATION Monday April 29 from 4-8 PM at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME 15822 Pearl Road Strongsville. Mass of Christian Burial at St. John Neumann Church, Strongsville at 10:00 AM with interment at Strongsville Cemetery immediately following.
