Johnnie "John" Lawrence Powell passed away December 11, 2020. He leaves behind a beloved wife of 62 years, Joan W. Powell; daughter Joyce Lorraine Powell; son Jeffery Lawrence Powell (Lynn Marie) and cherished grandson James Thomas Powell. He was preceded in death by his parents Reese Powell and Dorothy Combs Maddox. He gave dedicated service to the USMC, his family, friends and church. He is loved and missed. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Strongsville or St. Jude's Children's Children's Hospital. All Services private. Interment Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Seville Ohio.
