John D. Zachary, MS MD (Zychowski), 76, passed away May 2, 2016 as he lived, with a quiet grace and strength. He did not want to leave his wife Wendy, children Alaine (Raul Diaz) and Sharon, and grandchildren Carolina, Alexandra, Jessica, Elizabeth, Rebecca, Allen, Evan and Ryan. This was his greatest fear expressed of late. Dear brother of Dolores, Joseph, Carol, Elaine, Alexandra and the late Florence, Anthony Jr., Jeanette and Linda. Besides his family, his greatest joy in life was learning and sharing his knowledge with others. He was a caring surgeon whose availability to his patients was his utmost concern. He will be remembered for his humor, brilliance and keen understanding of humanity which guided his life. His adopted granddaughter said it best, “You were, are and always will be a cancer fighter, gone from our sight but never from our hearts.” VISITATION THURSDAY 4-8 PM at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME 15822 PEARL ROAD, STRONGSVILLE. Funeral Mass 10 AM Friday at St. John Neumann Church, Strongsville. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
