Dear Family,
On behalf of Kemper House, may I extend my heartfelt condolences to all of you. John was an extraordinary gentleman who had an irrepressible zest for life. His eyes held his stories, as he spoke with a wink and a grin. John was such a witty gentleman....and his humor will certainly be missed at Kemper House.
Thank you for loaning John to us. Though we did not know him in his fullness, we loved the John we knew. It has been our honor and privilege to have assisted in his care. Garden Way will not be quite the same without John's cheerful demeanor.
It has been my great honor to have served John through the ministry of Kemper Church. John was always very private about spiritual matters....but to know him at all, was to realize that he had an abiding faith in God and belief in the life after this life.
It is my prayer, dear family, that God comfort you...and that His presence be with you in the days and months ahead, as you grieve his passing. Yet, as you grieve, please know that there is hope. John lives on,
This Christmas....at every graduation....wedding...family gathering, John will be the unseen guest at your table---for, he lives in your hearts.
You have a lifetime of memories to treasure from a man who loved you dearly.

While I didn’t know you personally I have heard wonderful stories from your granddaughter Tanya and know what a wonderful person she is so can imagine what a wonderful influence you were in your family’s life. God bless!
