I have worked and known John from the 80's. We became good friends, and I found you could not have a better one to depend on. When the AWS (Fabtech) shows came around we would share a room at the hotel for it in the city that was hosting it. John was a hard worker and liked to have fun He was a "giver", and not a "taker". My wife Ingrid and I have had dinner with Kathy and John several times over the years, and had great times.
John, we will miss you. May God have mercy on your soul, and keep you rested in peace.
(I have been in the hospital for he last two months, and was just released this past Saturday)

John was one of the kindest men I have had the privilege of knowing. He was always smiling, willing to share a new story, and proud of being a Rotarian. He was a friend to those he met along the way, and was always there to help before he was asked. I am happy to have had the opportunity to know Jack and enjoyed his many visits to our office. Our sympathy to Jack's family. We knew him through the Deerfield Lake Homeowner's Association. His wonderful sense of humor, eagerness to lend a hand, and overall gregarious personality was a pleasure to be around. I saw him many times at the assisted living facility many times and I enjoyed our visits.
We will miss him.
