John G. Gray, 72, of Strongsville, OH, passed away August 12, 2014. Beloved husband of Marjorie (nee Reese) for 50 years. Devoted father of John E. (Rosanna), Karyn Kasnik (Bruce), and Paula McKee (Tim). Brother of the late Joyce Read Obituary
We are thankful for friends who make us happy and have given value to our survival. It's immense sadness felt upon losing such a friend. Why is a husband, father, grandfather, and friend taken from us? It gives us subject to ponder. But, when cherished memories of that dear friend lives on in our heart, we can say that life is good. We have been blessed. We shared many good times during and since Schaumburg days. As Gary said, "John made a great golfing partner. John could putt well and I could drive straight. We had it all covered." It's inevitable that surviving eventually ends for each of us, but some people exist and never live. John lived, laughed and loved. We are proud to call you our friend and you will be missed. May you be resting in the warmth of God's love while Marj and your family find solace in his strength during these difficult days. We love you and your family, but time speaks. Your old friends, Gary and Mabel, must bid you adieu.
My deepest sympathy to all. We lost a wonderful, sincere, honest, helpful and beautiful man. John was full of fun and love. He will be missed by all. May he be in complete paradise in Heaven. Rest in peace dear friend. I will always remember our friendship and the good times we had and especially the fun times that our two families had over the years. I was fortunate to know the Grays during their early Connecticut years. John ALWAYS had a way to make every event memorable, funny and filled with laughter. I remember watching John, Marj, my mom and dad laugh so hard they cried at times. There are memories filled with trips to the beach (and getting pulled over by the cops), house parties (John in full costume) and genuine good times at each others' homes. Although John, Marj, Johnny, Karen and Paula moved from Connecticut so many years ago, the memories are as clear now as they were then. I am blessed to have known John (and the entire Gray clan) and am forever grateful for the love and laughter he brought to my life. I knew Mr. Gray while working at a medical office through 2012. A wonderful person who will be missed by many. He was a delight to wait upon and his passing is a shadow across my heart. Connie D.
I will never forget the sound of his voice saying my name. I will never forget the way he hugged me. Or how he always had gum :) he was a wonderful husband to my grandma, amazing father to my dad and aunts, he loved everyone. He was a top notch grandpa and none of us would've traded him. He is a kind, loving, accepting, beautiful person. God couldn't have gotten a more suitable angel. He can now breath, he can walk, he can golf, and eat his sugar daddy's. As sad as I am, I am happy he is no longer suffering. May grandpa always know how much he is loved by all <3

Rest in Peace Mr. Gray! You were such an incredible man and God knows it too. You are with the angels ans saints now. Come to your family and let them know you are ok and that you will ALWAYS be with them. I ask God to give all the Gray's the love and strength to get thru this difficult time.
