My cataract eye doctor and the snow prevent me from driving to be with the family, as I can't currently drive in snow at night. John and I served together on many engagements with Arthur Andersen, many years before the firm's fall. John was a great client person; who would often work above and beyond the call of duty. As his supervisor, he saved me and the firm from disasters in many situations. He was always there, and like many of us during those years, his family sufferred from his being away. I am sorry that as part of that family, I cannot be there to share your sorrow and loss.
