John J. Dopoulos' Obituary
John J. Dopoulos, 92, passed away on October 19th, 2022 with his family by his side.
He was born on August 29th, 1930 to the late Demetrios and Irene Papadopoulos in Greece.
John immigrated from Greece in 1956. He founded Standard Machine in 1969 in Cleveland, Ohio. John was an avid boater and loved being out on the lake.
He married Caren (nee Heinrich) in 1978 and had been married 39 years before her passing in 2017.
He is survived by his children Jim (Elizabeth) Dopoulos, Mary Ann (Jeff) Andrews, Renee (Donn) Nottage, and step-daughter Holly Elgerwagi; grandchildren Jason (KayJay), Celina (Jason), Christine (Matt), Jonathan (Sara), Megan, and Alyssa (Bobby); great- grandchildren London, Betsy, Cameron, George, Christian, Carter, Coby, JJ, Amira, and Bella.
He is preceded in death by his wife and 6 siblings.
VISITATION will be held on WEDNESDAY, October 26th from 3pm - 7pm with the FUNERAL SERVICE to follow at 7pm at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, 15822 Pearl Road, Strongsville.
