John C. Covel's Obituary
John C. Covel born on February 4, 1955, to William V. Covel and Ann L. Covel (nee Truden), passed peacefully surrounded by family December 21, 2025.
He is preceded in death by his wife Ann E. Covel (nee Donze). He is survived by daughters Katherine M. Conley (Mark) and Rebecca A. Kovach (Joe). Grandfather to Chris (Nickie), Frederick, Cameron, Natalie, Hannah (Antonio), Danielle (Jayonn), Mojo, John, Steven, Carrie (Daniel), Katie Marie, Emily (Medhi) Mark Jr, and Bryan. Great grandfather to CJ, Aubrey, Isabella, Alex, Zaynne, and Levi. John had many medical challenges, but his heart was broken after losing his wife, whom he has now joined in heaven. John loved his family fiercely and was a dedicated husband, father, and papa.
A GATHERING TIME WILL BE HELD FROM 2PM - 6PM ON SUNDAY DECEMBER 28th, 2025 AT JARDINE FUNERAL HOME; 15822 PEARL ROAD STRONGSVILLE, OH 44136. THE FUNERAL SERVICE WILL BE HELD MONDAY DECEMBER 29th, 2025 AT 12PM ALSO AT JARDINE'S. Burial will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made in John’s name to St. Jude’s, as it was important to him to help the children.
