John "Andy" Skidmore's Obituary
John “Andy” Skidmore, 35, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 14th, 2022.
He was born on January 19th, 1987 to Linda Peebles and James Skidmore in Euclid, Ohio.
Andy married Elise (DiDonato) Skidmore on December 4th, 2019. They have been married for 3 years.
Andy was a very special guy. He loved to smile, laugh, and joke around with his friends and family. He was known for having the “Skidmore Charm.” Andy had the ability to light up a room. His nieces and nephews referred to him as “Fun Uncle Andy.” His step- son, Tyler, called him his “swag- dad.”
He was a free spirit. Throughout his life, Andy traveled across the states looking for new adventures and friends. Andy worked incredibly hard for his family and took pride in whatever he did.
He was an avid Cleveland sports teams fan. His favorite family tradition was attending the first Browns game every season. He had many different hobbies including a Ryobi tool obsession and barbequing for his family.
He is survived by his wife Elise Skidmore; step- son Tyler Dibiasio; mother Linda Peebles (David); siblings Richard (Jessica) Skidmore, and Sarah (Jonathan) Chickletts; five nieces and nephews Alex, Adam, Jacob, Allison, and Emily; many aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him dearly; and his family pets Sue Ellen, Minnie, Basil, Brownie, and Donna June.
He is preceded in death by his father, James Skidmore.
VISITATION will be held from 5pm - 6pm on WEDNESDAY, December 21st, 2022, with A CELEBRATION OF LIFE service beginning at 6:00 pm at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, 15822 Pearl Road, Strongsville.
