Jeff Amsdell's Obituary
Jeff Amsdell, a cherished husband, father, son, brother, and uncle, passed away on April 9, 2024, at the age of 60, in Grafton, Ohio. Born on April 5, 1964, in Sharon, Pennsylvania, Jeff's life was marked by his unwavering dedication to his family and family business.
Jeff is survived by his loving wife, Becky Amsdell, with whom he shared a life full of joy and companionship. He was a proud father to his sons, Jeffrey and Stephen Amsdell, a loving son of Loretta Amsdell, cherished brother of Amy Cartwright (Tim) and dear uncle of nieces, Macy and Lydia, and nephew, Corbin. Jeff was predeceased by his father, Barry Amsdell.
For 40 years, Jeff was an integral part of Amsdell Companies, working alongside his father and uncle. Together, they built a successful business, building mini warehouses and office complexes throughout Ohio.
Outside of work, Jeff's passion for racing was undeniable. He found joy and excitement in racing anything that had wheels or a motor. His love for speed and competition was matched only by his love for his family, who were always his first priority.
Those who knew Jeff would describe him as loving above all else. His warmth and generosity touched the lives of many, and his presence was a source of comfort and happiness. Jeff's legacy is one of love, dedication, and the joy he brought to every room he entered.
Jeff Amsdell's life was a testament to the power of love and the importance of family. He will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
ALL SERVICES SATURDAY, APRIL 27, 2024. VISITATION SATURDAY 11AM-1PM with a Memorial Service to begin at 1PM at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, 15822 PEARL RD, STRONGSVILLE. Interment private.
