Janice May Holland's Obituary
Janice May Holland (nee Roberts) born August 5, 1929 in Erie, PA to the late James T. and Dorothy (Hahn) Roberts. Jan passed away March 1, 2016 peacefully at home. Devoted wife of 54 years to husband, Harry V. Holland. Mother of Andrew Holland of Berea and Melissa Dunn (Louis) of Naperville, IL. Proud grandma of Carly and Colin LeRoy and Anne Holland. Sister of William Roberts of Erie, PA. She was preceded in death by her brothers Richard Roberts and James T. Roberts, Jr. After graduating high school in Erie, Janice attended BGSU and graduated from Baldwin-Wallace College in 1951. She went on to become a physical therapist and spent her early career working with polio victims. She was a gracious hostess and homemaker and an active supporter of the local schools and community. She traveled extensively and enjoyed time with her family and friends. A Strongsville resident since 1964, Jan spent many hours in volunteer and charitable works.
