Janet E. Cron, 88, passed away January 1, 2023. Beloved wife of 64 years to the late George L. Cron.
Loving mother of Mindy Shirilla (Tom), Sally Willoughby (Bernie), Amy Zenczak (Michael), and Jeff Cron (Mary). Daughter of the late Ashley and Inez (nee Kincaid) Dumbauld. Sister of Bill Dumbauld (Betty), and the late Judy Waterman (Larry). Dear grandmother of Kristin Shirilla (Mason Criswell), Emily Mancini (Duane), Mack Shirilla, Andrew Zenczak (Sarah), Elizabeth DiNunzio (Michael), Alexis Willoughby, Ava Willoughby, and Ryan Cron. Dear great-grandmother of Julia Mancini.
Janet's joy and happiness in life were best displayed in her marriage and her devotion to her children and grandchildren. She supported her family and community in roles such as PTA President and Girl Scout Leader. She and George shared a passion and talent for bowling; Janet achieved an Ohio tournament state ranking. She was a longtime employee of SOHIO / BP - Corporate Headquarters, and the Cleveland Law Offices of Kaufman and Cumberland. Her kindness and giving spirit will be remembered always.
VISITATION SUNDAY, JANUARY 8, 2023 1PM-5PM at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, 15822 Pearl Road, Strongsville. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL MONDAY, JANUARY 9, 2023 at 11AM at SAINT AMBROSE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 929 Pearl Road, Brunswick. Interment to follow on Monday, January 9th at 1:45pm at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
