Jane L. Taliak's Obituary
Jane L. Taliak, 76, passed away February 3, 2021.Beloved wife of Jim Taliak for 54 years. Loving mother of Jim Taliak (Paige) and Suzy Tanner (Jamie). Dear grandmother of Ellie, Griffin, Ben, Trey, and Evan. Janie met the love of her life, Jim, at the Michigan State Rose Bowl in 1966 and they have been married for 54 years ever since. She was his anchor and he was her sail. Her love of reading led her to the Strongsville City School system where she enjoyed her time as a Media Specialist for 15 years. She loved frogs, yellow roses, ballet and theatre performances, especially attending the afternoon matinees at the Cleveland Playhouse.
One of favorite pastimes for seventeen straight years was attending the Kentucky Derby with friends and family. She loved fishing and boating at their condo in Marblehead, OH. She had a tremendous love for her family and friends, but favored her time spent with her five grandchildren as Gigi singing “You are my sunshine” to them. She always kept a special place in her heart for her childhood dog Betsy, but most of all for Fluffy--the Taliak family dog. Always the classiest woman in the room, dressed to the nines, and beautifully put together at all times. Janie was extremely organized and always kept the cleanest and most welcoming home. She will always be remembered for being the kindest, most caring and thoughtful person who never had a negative or bad thing to say about anyone or anything. She was the BEST mother, wife and Gigi who made everything look so easy and effortless.
Her memory will continue to thrive in all that she loved. We will always miss her and love her.
VISITATION THURSDAY FEBRUARY 11, 2021 4-7PM at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, 15822 PEARL RD,STRONGSVILLE. Memorial Service FRIDAY February 12,2021 at 11AM at Jardine’s. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to SW Hospice Fund, 18659 Drake Rd, Strongsville OH 44136.
