Resident Sleeper By Jimmy Yarosh It’s four o’clock. I’m sipping on my Mountain Dew. Doritos dust is falling from the heavens above. My fan is spinning like a merry go round. As I’m smacking noobs on Roblox, My alarm suddenly goes BUZZ, BUZZ! I realize it’s six-thirty and I didn’t get any sleep. I slug my way into the bathroom and hop in the shower. After this, I go to school and sleep in Grimes class. “Why do we have to sleep?” “It’s a waste of time.” As humans, we sleep twenty-five to thirty-five percent of our lives. If we are not tired it is impossible to fall asleep. If we get too much sleep it’s unhealthy. If we get too little sleep it’s unhealthy. Sleep prevents activities and goals. Most people don’t have 7-9 hours a night to sleep. What a bad concept God has created. Sleep is for the Weak.
