James Ottobre II's Obituary
James Louis Ottobre II, passed away on October 16th, 2022, doing what he loved.
He was born on September 2nd, 1986 to James and Yvonne (nee Yonkof) Ottobre in Boynton Beach, Florida.
James went to Strongsville High School and graduated in the class of 2005. He attended Baldwin Wallace and Cuyahoga County Community College, Tri-C.
He enjoyed boating, fishing, music, basketball, and RC Cars. Friends would attest to his secret talent of singing karaoke at the Strongsville Cafe.
In addition to his parents, James is survived by his siblings Christopher (Dawn) Ottobre, and David Ottobre; aunt and uncles Steve (Elaine) Yonkof, Mike (Kitty) Yonkof, Susan Harnish, David (Lin) Yonkof, Adam (Peggy) Yonkof, Renee Zelesnik, and Jenine Ottobre; and many cousins. “Uncle Jimmy” had a special place in his heart for his niece Vera.
He is preceded in death by his uncle Bill Harnish, aunt Patricia Ottobre, and his grandparents.
VISITATION will be held on THURSDAY, October 20th, 2022 from 4pm- 8pm at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, 15822 Pearl Road, Strongsville. FUNERAL SERVICES will be held on FRIDAY, October 21st, 2022 at 10 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 12700 Pearl Road, Strongsville.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Fishing Foundation, 129 The Mall, Berea, Ohio 44017 or online at www.thefishingfoundation.org. It is a local non-profit that teaches kids how to fish. James would have loved to share his passion of angling with the next generation.
