James Alan LeHoty, 91, April 21, 1931 - December 2, 2022
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Jim LeHoty announce his passing on Friday, December 2 at age 91.
Born & raised in North Royalton, Ohio, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn, his parents John Henry LeHoty & Margaret Ann (nee Ogrody). Brothers Gerald, Paul, & Lawrence, and sisters Marguerite, Lenore, & Dolores.
He is survived by his three children, Scott (Beth) LeHoty, Jill (Tom) Parry, David (Annmarie) LeHoty, son-in-law Mark Pinto.
Grandchildren Brad, Jenna, Daniel, Madeline, Michael, Matthew, & Katie.
Jim was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
Jim loved his family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, uncle, & friend who took great pleasure in attending all his children's & grandchildren's sporting events, music, & dance recitals.
He was a carpenter employed by the Cleveland Board of Education for over 30 years. Jim was an avid hunter, gardener, ballroom dancer, & water skier who loved being outdoors & working with his hands.
Jim was devoted to his Catholic faith and was a long-time member of St. Albert the Great in North Royalton and St. Colette’s in Brunswick.
Dad was always a source of faith, leadership, strength & comfort throughout his life for his family.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association in honor of his late wife Marilyn, who he sacrificially cared for during her illness, or a charity of your choosing.
ALL SERVICES FRIDAY, DECEMBER 9, 2022. VISITATION will be held on FRIDAY, DECEMBER 9, 2022 from 9:30am-11am at St. Colette Catholic Church, 330 W. 130th St, Brunswick. FUNERAL MASS will begin at 11am on Friday. Interment will be privately held for the family at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
