I became friends with Jim when I bowled with him along with Charlie Baker and Frank Martine, at Seven Hills Lanes on Wednesday nights during the early to mid-2000's. I remember Jim sharing stories of going down to New Orleans to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina. I still have a CPPA card in my wallet that Jim gave me. He wrote on the back, "James Herron, 2109, Retired (ROPE Unit)." Jim was a nice man. God's blessings to him, and all of his loved ones.
