James R. Cross' Obituary
James R.Cross, known to his friends and family as Jim, passed away on Saturday April 1st, 2017 at age 83. Beloved husband of Rita for would have been 57 years in May and loving father to son James, daughter Maria (Father in law to Scott) and son John. Papa (Grandfather) to his beloved granddaughters Sydney and Avery Srnka. Son to Eugene (deceased 1979) and Dorothy (deceased 1976) and younger brother to Gene (deceased 1993).
Jim was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed walking his dogs at Hill'n Dale Club, snowmobiling, skiing, target shooting, fishing and hunting. Lifelong resident of Ohio who lived in Strongsville for 47 years and was a member of the Strongsville City Club for 3 decades. In his in earlier years Jim served in the US Air Force from 1953-1957 during the end of the Korean War.
VISITATION Friday from 4-8PM at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, 15822 Pearl Road, Strongsville, OH 44136. Funeral Service Saturday 12PM at Jardine's.
