Irma and family, I am sooo very sorry to hear of Jakob's passing.As you know I am in Florida and will not be able to come to his burial,but I will be there with you in thought!
Jakob was such a kind and giving person. His wit was always a delight to experience.
Now he will again be able to walk and run and play golf and bowl up in Heaven.
I know he will be looking down on us, and we will feel that little tap on our shoulder when he wants our attention.
He is at peace and able to experience all of God's love.
Irma,I hope you will still visit your friends at the Mall as we have come to love the both of you.

Dear Mrs. Schaufele (Irma), As you well know, I grew up as a neighborhood friend to Harold and your family many years ago. My memories of Jakob will always be of a wonderful, kind, hard working and fun person in addition to being a great father and life long companion to you. Dear Schaufele family,
I am so sorry to have read of your loss. Please accept my sincere condolences. Something that I have found to be of great comfort is what the Bible says at John 5:28,29 And Revelation 21:4. In these verses we see that soon God is going to bring about a resurrection of our loved ones as well as do away with all causes we have for suffering including sickness and death. Knowing this has always comforted me and it is my sincere hope that these thoughts comfort your family as well.
