Jacob Flynn Spence's Obituary
Jacob Flynn Spence, age 24 of Valley City, passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, April 10, 2024. Cherished son of Ron and Karen (nee Horvath) Spence, loving brother of Joe Riley Spence. Adored grandson of Joan Javorsky (the late Andy), John and Sharon Horvath and the late Shirley Spence. Nephew of John Horvath, Carl (Kelly) Spence, and Pamela (Tim) Reed. Jacob also leaves behind many cousins and close friends who will greatly miss him.
Jacob was a 2018 graduate of St. Ignatius High School, then attended The University of Cincinnati for 3 years. He enjoyed playing sports, especially Lacrosse, basketball and football. He was an avid Cleveland Browns fan and sports enthusiast.
The family will receive friends for visitation in the Jardine Funeral Home, 15822 Pearl Rd., Strongsville, on Saturday, April 20, 2024 from 11 am – 1:30 pm, followed by a funeral service promptly at 1:30 pm. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
