Jack E. Cavanaugh's Obituary
Jack E. Cavanaugh was born October 1, 1951 in Philadelphia, PA. Later, his family moved to Brecksville, Ohio. Jack attended Kent State University and pursued a career in wholesale office furniture sales.
Jack was preceded in death by his father Jack Cavanaugh, mother Catherine (Martin) Cavanaugh, sister Kathleen Lennerth (Cavanaugh) nephew Matthew Cavanaugh. Jack is survived by his wife Maureen, along with daughters Corri Thompson (Mike), Caryn Jeannin (Henry), Crystle Long (Dave), and Moira Dempsey. Jack was blessed with many grandchildren Jacob, Connor, Ryan; James and Caden; Owen and Elena; and Noah; with one along the way (Crystle and Dave). Jack leaves behind his brothers and sisters Eileen Boadway, Mary Ippolito (Alan), Thom Cavanaugh (Laura), Marty Cavanaugh, Sue Faldetta (Neil) along with many nieces and nephews.
Jack touched the lives of so many; nothing mattered to him more than family and his close friendships. Jack spent the last years of his life surrounded by his family in Cape Coral, Fl.
Jack’s memorial visitation will be held at Jardine Funeral Home 15822 Pearl Rd. Strongsville on Thursday, July 25th from 4:00-7:30 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 7:30. We will also have a mass on Friday, July 26th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Colette’s Catholic Church 330 W. 130TH St., Brunswick, Ohio 44212.
