Ines Santora's Obituary
Ines Santora, 90, passed away peacefully on March 4th, 2023 surrounded by family, in the comfort of her own home.
She was born on March 26th 1932 to the late Anthony and Lavinia (nee Favagrossa) Manni in Cleveland, Ohio.
Ines attended West Tech High School and graduated with honors in 1949.
She married Mario Santora on June 14th, 1952. They had been married for 56 years before his passing in December of 2008.
She began her career working for American Airlines in 1952. She retired in 1994.
Ines enjoyed travelling abroad and visiting the beach. In her free time, you could find her feeding the birds daily, even though afraid of them, playing slot machines, and watching western movies. In her younger years she was an avid roller skater.
She is survived by her children Dianne Santora (Bill Munday), and Scott (Sharon) Santora; brother Daniel (Pat, deceased) Manni; grandchildren Anthony and Nicole Santora; step- grandchildren Theresa (Jack) Galinas, Christine (Ryan) Jasinski, and Jennifer (Pat) McLaughlin; and 6 great grandchildren.
VISITATION will be held on THURSDAY, March 9th from 3pm – 7pm at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, 15822 Pearl Road, Strongsville. A MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will take place on FRIDAY, March 10th (MAR10 Day) at 11:30am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 12700 Pearl Road, Strongsville. Interment will take place at Strongsville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to one of her favorite charities, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, The Wounded Warriors Project, or Shriners Hospital for Children.
