Hilda S. Stacey's Obituary
Hilda S. Stacey (nee Mello) entered eternal rest on January 12, 2017. She is survived by her husband William of over 63 years. Born in Fall River, MA, the daughter of the late Joseph and Christina Mello and sister of five brothers and one sister – all deceased. Loving mother of Stephen (Melissa), Michael, and Sandra Jiberno (John). Grandmother of Matthew Stacey, Dr. Stephen Stacey Jr. (Dr. Rachel), Emilia Moore (Corey), Laura Stacey, Anna Lingerfelt (Daniel), and Adrian Stacey. Great-grandmother of 8. She was a member of the Women’s Army Corps during the Korean War and assigned to the Pentagon until her discharge. For many years she enjoyed playing Bridge, golf, painting, and traveling. VISITATION SUNDAY 1-5 PM at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, 15822 PEARL ROAD, STRONGSVILLE. Funeral Mass Monday at 11:30 AM at St. Joseph Church, Strongsville. Interment Strongsville Cemetery.
