Halina Tujaka's Obituary
Halina Tujaka (nee Jarzyna), 91, passed away at Holy Family Hospice on Sunday, October 20, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Jan Szczepaniak and the late Reverend Zygmunt Tujaka. Loving mother of Eva O’ Neill, Ursula Montgomery (Eric), Teresa Czerniak (David II), Mary Tujaka and Zofia Tujaka (Bruce Hackenbeck). Sister of Krystyna Kula (Juzef), Stefania Dymidziuk (Taddeusz) and Wanda Rusek (Rajmund). Daughter of the late Aleksander and Antonina (nee Pelka) Jarzyna. Dear grandmother of Jennifer Duyon. Great grandmother of Matthew, Joel and Alexis Taylor. Aunt of Barbara Dymidziuk, Marcin and Miroslaw Rusek, Jacek Kula, Stanley Radomski, Zygmunt, Emil and Ewa Rozek.
She had a special relationship and bond with each member of her family. All who will miss her dearly.
Halina had an amazing repertoire of songs and poems from her childhood and from her days of teaching that she enjoyed sharing.
Halina was an excellent cook whose pickle soup, pierogi and mushroom crepes were unrivaled. She was also skilled in sewing, knitting and embroidery.
She prayed the rosary every day and had a special devotion to the Virgin Mary and the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Rest in peace, beloved one.
