Maureen, Valerie, Nancy & Family: I was very saddened to hear of your Mother's passing. I was unfortunately in Columbus all day Saturday for a 4-H Conference, back & forth to Pennsylvania yesterday helping our son return to college, and committed to do career education programs at a school all morning today. I was very sorry I could not attend the memorial services. Your Mother was a very special person indeed, and the Cuyahoga County 4-H Program was very fortunate to have her involved with us for so long. In all of my associations with her, I was always impressed by her dedication, her genuine concern for the members, and her belief that the young people in the program should aspire to live up to the high ideals that 4-H could offer. She was always, pleasant, kind, and helpful. We have missed her presence in the last few years since she moved, and I know you all will miss her. I know you will have many treasured memories of her that will remain with you as well. Our deepest thoughts for sympathy and support go out to all of you at this time.##imported-begin##Greg Siek##imported-end##
To Gladys' family, we are so sorry for your loss today. Mrs. Calderwood was a friend and mentor to so many young people. I will never forget how she always welcomed me home on leave, and made me feel like I was a special part of her world. I know she was a very special part of your world too. Coming home to will never be the same without seeing Gladys' face in the St. Thomas congregation. Surely heaven has reclaimed one of it most special angels. Gladys will be greatly missed here on Earth. But joyful memories of Gladys' warm and giving spirit will remain with me forever.

To Nancy and Valerie, You know I understand exactly what you're both going through and how you feel. The loss of someone you are so close to and love so much, is rather hard to take. But the loss of your Mother can seem unbearable. You won't remember much of what has happened since then or for the next couple days, but you will always have those wonderful memories she helped make for you. Your Mother was an awesome, independent and loving person with a wonderful sense of humor. That's what you will remember.....the fun, the M&Ms, and even that little punch in the shoulder. She's still with you and still part of you, and no one can take that from you!
Stay strong, and keep together. And you know we're all here for you too.
With our deepest sympathy,
Lauren, Joe, Leah, Becky and Sarah##imported-begin##Lauren Wojciechowski and Family##imported-end##
