GEORGE EDWARD MACSAY, age 85, of Middleburg Heights passed away on Sunday, Sept. 15. Loving husband of the late Mary Joan Macsay (Palof), for 61 years; son of the late Michael and Anna (Stofcsik) Mascay (both deceased); cherished father of Ann (Larry) Riehl, Cathy (Mike) Tippenhauer, Teresa (Paul) Haynes Gagne, Steve (Barb Esker) and Greg (Sarah); dear grandfather of David (Kelly), Shawn (Bridget), Chris (Annie), Sara, Joann (Mike), Ben, Adam (Riana), Aaron (Chelsea), Jillian (Rob), Paul (Heather), Brian (Kate), Michael (Erin), Matthew, Megan, Marty, Emily (Jacob), Joe (fiancé Ashtyn), Eric, Kevin, Andrea, and Alex; great grandfather of Heidi, Reid, Leo, Lilly, Vera, Nola, Phoebe, Jude, Gray, Max (deceased), Charles, Gus, Leu, Henry, Ephraim, Mayim, Gianna, Ellie, Jane, Julia, Vivian, Alice, Paul; dear brother of John, Alice, Mike (all deceased) and Marge; brother-in-law of Paul (Josie) Palof (both deceased), George (Irene) Palof (both deceased), Albert Palof (deceased), Joe (Mary) Palof, and Florence Montgomery (Jim, deceased). George was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Family relationships were so important to him, we were expected to love and respect each other no matter the circumstances. His love of woodworking continued beyond his stroke right up until this summer when he was building a village complete with a planetarium! He leaves behind an amazing legacy. VISITATION THURSDAY, SEPT.19 AT JARDINE FUNERAL HOME 15822 Pearl Road, Strongsville, from 4-8 PM with Rosary at 7:30 PM.
