George L. Cron, 90, passed away November 30, 2021. Beloved husband of Janet E. Cron for 64 years. Loving father of Mindy Shirilla (Tom), Sally Willoughby (Bernie), Amy Zenczak (Michael), and Jeff Cron (Mary). Son of the late Anthony and Catherine (nee Quinter-Boeckman) Cron. Brother of the late Wilbert Boeckman (Lorena), Richard Boeckman (Alvira), Joseph Boeckman (Rita), John Cron (Marjorie), Raphael Cron (Gwen), Cletus Cron (Pauline), Anthony Cron Jr, Marcella Weitzel (Aloys), Rita Moeller (Wilbur), Rosie Fleck (Gerald), and Erma Klosterman (Harold). Dear grandfather of Kristin Shirilla (Mason Criswell), Mack Shirilla, Alexis and Ava Willoughby, Emily Mancini (Duane), Andrew Zenczak (Sarah), Elizabeth DiNunzio (Michael), and Ryan Cron. Dear great-grandfather of Julia Mancini.
Proud U.S. Air Force Veteran. George and his wife Jan built a loving family and enjoyed spending time with all of them. He was a passionate golfer, an avid bowler, and a true sports fan. He was known as a regular at the coffee and donut social hours. He will be greatly missed.

MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL SATURDAY, DECEMBER 4, 2021 at 10AM with visitation one hour prior at SAINT AMBROSE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 929 Pearl Road, Brunswick.
Interment Monday, December 6, 2021 at 9:30AM at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
