George Anthony Bodovetz's Obituary
George Anthony Bodovetz, Age 79 of Strongsville, OH passed away peacefully in his sleep on June 13, 2026. George was born on April 11, 1947, the first born son of the late John and Anna Marie Bodovetz. He was also proceeded in death by his brother Joseph.
He was a decorated Army Vietnam Veteran earning the National Defense Service Medal, Air Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and Purple Heart. George was an avid golfer and a meticulous gardener. He was best known by his family and friends for his kindhearted generosity and resolute spirit. He is survived by his wife Susan (Friery), his children Christopher, Catherine and Jeffrey and their mother Sharon (Jones), his stepchildren Vanessa (Darren) and Stephen and his grandchildren Owen and Kendall, Sisters Diane (Smith) and Debbie Burns (Bob), brother John and several nieces and nephews.
A private interment will be at a later date at Ohio Western Reserve Cemetery.
