I always looked forward to seeing Gene at the Chamber's Home Coming event. Over many years we formed a friendship as he would always drop by my booth to chat about Boston, life in general or ask if he could lend a helping hand. He loved Root Beer Italian Ice and to watch him stop what he was doing and really enjoy it always made me feel good. He loved his community, the Chamber and had many friends who will miss him as well. I send my heart felt sympathy to his family and all his friends, he is an individual I will never forget.

My sincere sympathy to the family of Gene Faur. It has been many years, but through the Strongsville Chamber of Commerce, Gene's Auto Service and community events I knew Gene and am very sorry to learn of his passing.
