Frederick H. Yarris' Obituary
Frederick H. Yarris, 85, passed away September 13, 2023. Beloved husband of 63 years to Nancy L. Yarris.
Frederick was a proud Benedictine High School graduate (1956) and enjoyed engaging with his fellow alumni. He grew his 43 year career at NASA Glen Center in Cleveland from a drafting apprentice to a leader in the Design Engineering Section. After NASA he mentored and taught students at Lorain Community College and within private industry. He was also instrumental in founding the St Elizabeth Seaton Knights of Columbus Chapter. Throughout their retirement years Frederick and Nancy enjoyed cruising and time with friends and family in Florida and Ohio.
He was Loving father of Dr. Linda Yarris-Ewert (Benjamin), Beth Johnston (Jerry), Kenneth Yarris (Tina) and Dr. Amy Casey. Son of the late Bernice Yarris. Brother of the late Mary Yarris, William Yarris and Theresa Holmberg. Dear grandfather of Jeremy, Morgan, Austin and Bianca.
A Memorial Service will be held TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 19, 2023 at 10AM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, 25801 Royalton Rd, Columbia Station, OH 44028. The burial will take place at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon, OH at 2pm. A short reception will be held after the Memorial Service -- details to be shared at the Service. All are welcome.
