My thoughts and prayers have been with you and Fred since I first learned of his passing. I know that my Charlotte is praying for you both in Heaven. Fred was such an unassuming and kind person...and the greatest QB St. Stan's ever had! Yesterday, I brought out the photograph of you and Fred and your bridal party. Sweet sadness; time passes too quicklyYou and your family have my deepest sympathy.

I just want to say that you are in my thoughts and prayers. I will always remember Fred for being so upbeat and positive; sometimes that isn't so easy on the golf course! My deepest sympathies to Mrs. D, Mark and Bruce and your families. You have been in my heart from 1970 on. I won't trade our Maple Heights memories for anything in the world, and I'll always remember the man who gave me my start in baseball, which remains my favorite sport.
