How truly blessed I was to have Aunt Florence in my life. I never remember a day when she didn't have a smile on her face. Even as a child I appreciated her eternal patience and kindness. I feel so lucky having another saint in heaven watching out and praying for me. My love and prayers go to all of my cousins who displayed an amazing amount of courage and love over the past several weeks. Because of your love, she was able to die with dignity and peace. I wish I could be with you to celebrate her life. Love you all,

Grandma, what can I say, you are the reason why I have the faith I have. You were the one who gave me my first rosary and holy water. You taught me so many things, but most of all you showed me how to be by example. You were the perfect example of how one should live. I hope and wish to be like you someday. To be loving, caring, outwardly friendly, positive, funny, faithful, honest and trusting. I thank God everyday that I am your grandaughter. And I thank God that I turned that car around when I left, to talk to you one last time about the really important things in life. I'll never forget what you said to me and that you ended with this "God knows, and that's all that matters, because God's opinion is the only one that counts in the end." Mom,
You were such a wonderful person and an inspiration to everyone you ever met, whether it was a person at the next table in a restaurant or at home. You set a standard for both life and faith. I have always thought of you as Mom, especially after my mom passed away. I know you are enjoying your heavenly reward with Stan and Stanley Jo. I love you & miss you very much. Pray for all of your family, we still need your prayers. I know you will always be with us in our hearts.

Aunt Florence -

You were always such a fun, loving and friendly lady. I really enjoyed visiting you and Uncle Stan as a child, and I'm especially glad that we got to see you last year, and that you got to meet my daughter. I will treasure that picture I have of you two together. You will be remembered, and missed.

As young childen my brothers and sisters and I loved to come to Cleveland to be with our grandparents and aunts, uncles and cousins. Then as we all married and had children of our own we were able to bring them to meet such a wonderful family. Aunt Florence's house was always a favorite place to go - we were always welcomed with open arms and lots of love. We are so thankful we got to be with her this past summer and sit and visit and get lots of hugs. We were all so impressed with how she could remember so much. She will be greatly missed by us all. Mom, Rich and I are so blessed to be a part of your wonderful family and their families. We were remembering the many Christmas Eve gatherings before Midnight Mass, the family reunions, Catawba vacations, weddings, first communions and regular family gatherings. We also remember some of the less enjoyable events such as falling off the skateboard and having to tell Dad you accidentally backed into a "fiberglass car" at Costa's. And don't forget the bridge parties, everyone became involved in the preparation for those.
It seems as we pray, the Lord brings us these beautiful visions to remind us of the great love you and your family have always shared. I wish there would have been time to visit with you on your last visit to Florida, but I heard you had a wonderful time at Busch Gardens and that will be another memory Scott and Aimée will treasure.
We regret we are not there in person, but please know that we are with you in spirit. We continue to pray for happiness and blessings on your wonderful family.

Aunt Florence,

I remember a welcoming and warm home. Even with 53 nieces and nephews, I always felt special. You gave me such comfort when my dad died by telling me that you had never heard him say an unkind word to anyone. I am certain everyone who knows you would say the same of you, Aunt Florence. I am glad to have had our visit at Christmastime and to know that Marissa will always have you in her memories.

I thank Mary for the daily blog on Aunt Florence's condition. I am sure Aunt Florence appreciated being at home these last few weeks in the loving care of her family. That you all were able to do this for her is wonderful. I so wish to be in Cleveland with the family today. Please know my heart and prayers are with you at this time.
