Flora DeMarco's Obituary
Flora DeMarco (nee Lampone)
Flora was born on December 6, 1932, in the Bronx, NY to Giuseppe and Pietra Lampone. She passed on December 4, 2025 in Strongsville, Ohio.
Flora was an excellent Italian cook who always made family and friends feel at home when they visited. No one could leave her home without a full stomach, and, quite often, to-go containers filled with delicious leftovers. Her main focus in life was her husband and family, and she also had many friends in the communities where she lived.
Flora was the beloved wife of the late Frank DeMarco for 52 years. Mother to Francine Ciaccia (Jim), Jeanne Regler (Dan, dec.), Frank DeMarco (dec.) (Christine), John DeMarco (Libby). Grandmother to Karyn Gabella (John), Julie Magers (Doug), Cristy Reiley (John), Alexandra DeMarco, Olivia DeMarco, Marissa Weeks, and Laura DeMarco. Great-grandmother to Clinton Causey (Yukina), Ryan, Ava, and Cecelia Magers, Sophia, and Reese Reiley. Great-great-grandmother to CJ Causey. Sister to Rachel Basilone (deceased), Anne Sibley (deceased), Rena Quirk (Bill), and Joseph Lampone. Cremation has occurred.
Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to all the caring aides, nurses, and staff at The Avenue in Strongsville over the past two years. Mom loved every one of you.
Services will be private for the immediate family. Flora’s ashes will be interred at Volusia Memorial Park in Ormond Beach, Florida, joining her husband, Frank.
