Dr. Eugene Edward Stoll, DDS's Obituary
Dr. Eugene Edward Stoll, DDS, age 94, passed away January 29, 2026 in Strongsville, OH. He was married for 66 wonderful years to the late Sarah Marie Stoll, whom he loved deeply. Beloved father of Michael (Rebecca), Carla (deceased), infant Timothy (deceased), Mark (Mary), and Carrie. Loving grandfather of five: Evan (Liz), Anthony, Carla Miller (Jarod), Joseph, and Marius and great grandfather to Lucy.
Born on July 3, 1931 in Canton, OH, Eugene attended John Carroll University in Cleveland and then graduated from Loyola School of Dentistry, Chicago, in 1956. He proudly served as a dentist in the United States Army from 1956 to 1957 at Fort Rucker, Alabama. Dr. Stoll practiced dentistry in North Olmsted, Ohio for 34 years, providing skilled and compassionate care to many patients. A man of strong faith, he was a longtime member of St. Angela Merici Parish in Fairview Park, Ohio (1965–1992), and recently, St. Joseph Parish in Strongsville since 1992–2025. Eugene cherished his weekends on the family farm in Glenmont, Ohio, where he enjoyed the peace of rural life, the satisfaction of growing a bountiful garden and sharing the harvest with neighbors and friends.
The family is extremely grateful for the care of Hospice of the Western Reserve as well as aides from Visiting Angels.
ALL SERVICES THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 5, 2026. Visitation will be held 10:30AM until time of Mass beginning at 11:30AM at ST. JOSEPH CATHOLIC CHURCH, 12700 PEARL RD, STRONGSVILLE. Interment will immediately follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to St. Joseph Parish, Strongsville.
