Many times when people heard I was of 8 kids they’d say Wow. Mom often told us when she was little she wanted a big family so she would always be surrounded by her kids. She loved each of us differently in her own way . She may have ruled firmly but always with best intentions and to teach life lessons but fierce in standing up for us. Often generous to a fault, her weakness was not being able to say No as often as she could or should have. Her strength came from the Love my dad has for her, he too rarely ever said no to her .Our home always had an open door, plate of food ,coffee and an ear or shoulder if needed. Many friends of ours called her Mom in our younger years and now Grandma by friends of Our kids. I miss her incredibly already. She always said you only have One Mother , she was right -I love you Mom, Cind
