Emily Marie Stropko (nee Hrivnak), 88, was called home to Jesus on November 7, 2024. Beloved mother of James John Stropko Jr (Sandra), Danette Stropko, Janet Stropko (Paul MacMillan) and the late Linda Keys (Shawn;deceased). Daughter of the late John Hrivnak and Mary Hrivnak (nee Pohlod). Sister of Daniel Hrivnak (Virginia), Calvin Hrivnak (Lynn) and the late John Hrivnak Jr (Romaine;deceased). Emily was a child of God, and we celebrate her life with the comfort of knowing she is now in the presence of our Savior. Her love for all of God’s creatures was evident in her gentle care for animals, especially birds, cats and dogs. Emily’s gift of humor provided laughter and smiles, and her feisty spirit will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She often shared stories from her childhood on the farm, painting memories of milking cows and butchering chickens. With her green thumb, Emily loved tending to her beautiful garden, and her home was filled with a lovely collection of houseplants. Her life was a testament to faith, joy, and perseverance, and her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
