Elvera "Ellie" J. Heinrich's Obituary
Elvera "Ellie" J. Heinrich (nee Zipperle), age 98, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2025.
Ellie was the beloved wife of the late Robert Heinrich, with whom she shared 61 years of marriage. She was a devoted mother to Lynn Hileman (Douglas) and Jim Heinrich (Sharon), and a proud grandmother to Lisa (Terence), Ryan, Jennifer, Kristin (Will) and great-grandmother to three great-grandchildren.
Born to the late Albert and Mae Zipperle, Ellie was the loving sister of the late Geraldine and Laurel Perry (Albert). She carried with her a strong sense of family, kindness, and quiet strength that left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
Ellie worked at Land Title and Guarantee. She approached everything in her life with care and precision—whether at work, in her home, or through her music.
An accomplished pianist, Ellie found joy in music throughout her life. She also had a deep, pure love for animals, especially dogs and cats, and her compassion for all living things was unmistakable. Ellie was a wonderful cook and a true perfectionist, always striving to make things just right.
Above all, Ellie lived her life with a deep devotion to those she loved. She will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A private burial will be held at Crown Hill Cemetery. A memorial service will take place on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at Strongsville United Church of Christ, 13740 Pearl Road, Strongsville, Ohio 44136. Visitation will be held from 10:00–11:00 AM, with the service beginning at 11:00 AM. A luncheon at the church will follow immediately after the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Berea ARF or Strongsville United Church of Christ.
