Elizabeth Madias' Obituary
Elizabeth Madias, 87 of Strongsville, passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2022.
She was born on October 3, 1934 in Cleveland to Harry and Frances (nee Foteni) Spanos.
Elizabeth was married to the love of her life, Eddy Madias, for 62 wonderful years before his passing in 2017.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She focused on her family and loved them all dearly.
Elizabeth is survived by her children Francine (Mark) Comstock, Angela (David) Grgat, and Mark (Lorraine) Madias; sister Dena (Philip) Spanos- Hawkey; grandchildren Kristen (Ryan) Abrahamowicz, Alexander, Alison, Matthew, and Adam; and great- grandchildren Nolan and Logan.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter Melpa (Kenneth) Koleszar, and brother Bill Spanos.
VISITATION will be held on SATURDAY, July 2nd, 2022 at ST. DEMETRIOS GREEK ORTHODOX CHURCH, 2909 Center Ridge Rd, Rocky River, OH from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. FUNERAL SERVICE will be immediately following the visitation at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Strongsville Cemetery.
