Elise Grace Paine was born June 21, 2012, to Jonathan and Jennifer (Wojcik) Paine and big brother Nathan. She died unexpectedly on June 19, 2026, two days before her 14th birthday. I have helped Elise write eleven theater bios to Read Obituary
I did 3 shows with Elise. Shrek Jr, Beauty and the Beast Jr, and Matilda Jr. She was seriously the kindest person in the cast. She was always willing to help anyone at any time. She was also SO talented. She had a great stage presence and the best voice! She was one of my favorite people! I loved her so much!

I have so many amazing memories with Elise its impossible to name them all. Some of my favorites, include all the vacations where she was always right next to me willing to do whatever so we weren't alone, all of the different karaoke she did where she sounded amazing, to the concerts where she sung her heart out, to playing with cousins and somehow always managing to be the cousins favorite. I will especially miss my biggest cheerleader at all my games. Im never gonna froget my built in best friend. Gone to soon but never forgotten.
Elise has always bent kind to me but one memory of her being kind was in drama club I didn’t have anybody to sit with and Elise let me sit with her and her friends
My favorite memory of Elise was in all of the years we were in class together and she was always so kind to me
Elise was really talented and was always able to help me with the choreography during our show together at Near West Theater. I am really going to miss her, and I will never forget her kindness.

On the closing day of suessical, me and Elise were having so much fun. It was so awesome to be a part of that community and at the final circle, I gave Elise an adorable stuffed animal and she quite clearly enjoyed it. I loved knowing her for the few long months and wished she was still here. I loved having her as one of my closest friends from suessical. I believed in her to go onto broadway, where we planned to visit each other. She was my pal who gave the best and perfect gifts to me. The final circle was a great and sad day for us all. I didn’t know Elise that well but she was so kind and was a light to everyone. I will miss her so much and I’m praying for her family.
