Elijah R. Banuelos' Obituary
Elijah R. Banuelos, age 25, passed away on April 17, 2026 surrounded by his family.
Elijah was born on March 6, 2001 in Cleveland, OH.
Elijah was a man who was meticulous in his home, and work, and with his hobbies. His space was always clean, organized, and put-together. He was a hobbyist grower of marijuana, and kept his plants healthy, organic, and of top-notch quality.
At work, he was always dedicated to keeping things clean and tidy. He worked at Triv’s for many years as a busser and took pride in his work. He was also working in the kitchen at Applebee’s.
He was a gamer, some of his favorites being Apex Legends and Rainbow Six Siege. He was also a biker, longboarder, and fisherman in his spare time. He loved his feline babies: Smokey, Jade, Willow and Baka. He was always so healthy, keeping track of what he ate and put into his body. He enjoyed his time at the gym, working out and being the best “him” he could be.
Elijah is survived by his loving mother, Rachael Carson, and father, Saul Simmons; siblings: Cameron, Javier and Stella; grandparents, Cindy and Greg Scott, and Mercedes Simmons; aunts and uncles: Jessica (Earl), Sara, Shaun, and Stephanie (Ricky). He was a loving cousin and friend.
Elijah was preceded in death by his grandpa’s, Bob Carson and Ed Simmons.
Elijah’s family will greet friends Wednesday, April 22, 2026 from 3 – 6:30 PM at Jardine Funeral Home, 15822 Pearl Road, Strongsville. A celebration of life service will begin at 6:30 PM.
