Born on June 30, 1944, in Brunswick, Ohio, Popeye was a man who lived his life with vigor and a contagious enthusiasm that touched everyone he met.
Popeye was the loving father of Timothy Edward Borowski (April) and Sherry Lynn Music (Terry). He was born to the late Edward Borowski and Ruth Borowski (nee Zadamsky) and was the brother of the late Stella Oppman. His legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren, Blake Edward Borowski, Brady Andrew Borowski-Burke, Robert Walter Borowski, Zachary Thomas Taylor, and Jacob Dalton Tincher, as well as his adored great-grandchildren, Kashton Edward Jacob Borowski and Harley Reign Taylor.
After many years of dedicated service, Popeye retired from his career as a carpenter, a trade where he not only built structures but also forged lasting relationships with those he worked alongside. His craftsmanship was a testament to his attention to detail and his commitment to excellence.
Popeye's interests were as diverse as they were passionate. An avid fisherman, he found solace and joy in the tranquility of nature's waters. His generosity knew no bounds, as he was always ready to lend a helping hand to family, friends, and neighbors. Popeye's love for riding motorcycles was more than a hobby; it was a reflection of his love for freedom and exploration. The back roads were his sanctuary, and he relished the camaraderie found in the company of fellow riders and friends.
Known as a true social butterfly, Popeye's presence was a source of joy and laughter at any gathering. His stories, often filled with humor and wisdom, will be dearly missed but fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
