Edgar was always a good source for factual advise and inspiration. He was so supportive of the Grand Canyon trip; where I hiked across with my 3 children in 2000. He hiked it a few years before and shared a ton of advise. Judy and Edgar visited my parents, Anna & Helmut, in DC and we so enjoyed watching the soldiers of Fort Myer parade and perform indoors very close to our seating area. Edgar was entertained fully due to his loyalty to the Service and general enthusiasm of meaningful events.
