Eddy Marsey's Obituary
Eddy Marsey, age 79, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2026, after being surrounded by love and support throughout his final days. A passionate Cleveland sports fan who was never shy about sharing his opinions on the game, especially after a tough loss by one of his teams.
Eddy enjoyed life’s simple pleasures: picnics, trips to the racetrack, and spending time with his loved ones. Eddy was also deeply devoted to his Catholic faith, which remained an important part of his life throughout the years.
He is survived by his cherished love and best friend of 39 years, Mary Campagna, and her children, Anthony Campagna (Mary), Sam Campagna, Maria Grbic (Pete), and Frank Campagna (Kelly), who Eddy loved as his own family. He was a proud grandfather figure to Nicole (Joseph), Anthony (Claire), Dominic, Olivia, Nicholas, Jacob, Joshua, Jonah, and great-grandfather figure to Joseph, Nolan, Gemma and Ella.
He will be lovingly remembered by his sister, Delores, and by many loving nieces and nephews including Mary, Jeffrey, Jerry, Debbie, Bob, and Wendy. Eddy was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Mary Marsey, and his sisters, Patricia and Jeannie.
Eddy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
A GATHERING OF FAMILY AND FRIENDS WILL BE HELD ON MONDAY MAY 18TH, 2026 FROM 3PM – 7PM AT JARDINE FUNERAL HOME; 15822 PEARL ROAD STRONGSVILLE, OH 44136. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL WILL BE HELD ON TUESDAY MAY 19TH, 2026 AT 10AM AT ST. AMBROSE CATHOLIC CHURCH; 929 PEARL ROAD BRUNSWICK, OH 44212 (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). INTERMENT AT OHIO WESTERN RESERVE NATIONAL CEMETERY WILL BE ANNOUNCED AT A LATER DATE.
