Douglas Thies age 74 passed away Wednesday May 6, 2026. Beloved wife of Cathy for 42 years. Loving father of Sarah (Adam) and Rachel (DJ) Lynch. Dear grandfather of Hunter, Charlie and Daisy. Brother of Arnie, Bonnie Schroeder, Debbie Hill, Diana Bruner, Brad and Ellen Villanueva. Son of the late Arnold and Doris. Doug loved the Cleveland Indians, family time especially with his grandchildren. He enjoyed camping, garage sale shopping, collecting puzzles and board games, trips to Disney World and his time with West Denison Baseball League. Doug loved going to Gran Fiesta to share a pitcher of margaritas. ALL SERVICES SATURDAY May 9, 2026 at Jardine Funeral Home 15822 Pearl Rd. Strongsville. A gathering will be from 11-1pm with a service of remembrance at 1pm.
