My sincere condolance in the loss of your mother. Dot was a wonderfull friend.
Janice, Sharon and Karen I am so very sorry to hear of your mom’s passing! So many of my childhood memories have her and your family in them.
Dear Karin,
I have such fond memories of our childhood and times together at your house. Your mom was always accepting, loving, sweet, fun--and spoiled us with special snacks (a highlight for little kids, you know!) Your house became a "second home" for me, as we would hang out from dawn to dusk on our banana bikes and rotate from home-to-home-to-home throughout the day. Trundle bed sleep-overs, swing sets, and back yard games, our neighborhood homes often blended into one.
I remember we tested your mom's limits multiple times, as all kids would, and she was "mom" enough to not hesitate to set us all back in line. Our community was awesome, our childhoods happy, and I'm thankful for your mom's influence in all our lives.
I am so very sorry for your loss, and I pray that the beautiful memories of your beautiful mom help carry you through the loneliness and grief. Dottie Salata will always be warmly remembered.
With friendship and deepest sympathy to you and your sisters,

Dear Karin, Sharon and Jan ~ So sorry to hear about your sweet mom.
She was always so proud of you girls, each one.
We met at Friends Church where we had signed up our little girls for Pre-School, and then became part of a car pool. She was always so pleasant and positive.
May God be your Comfort in this time of loss.

I share your sorrow as I read that Dotty has completed her time on earth and is now HOME.. She was a lovely lady. I have such good memories of her and all of you as former neighbors, babysitters, and friends when we all lived close to one another.
My heart is with all of you and my prayers are for all of you. I hope sometime we can share memories...
