Dorotha Adeline Dennison (nee Thorn), 94, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2020 in North Royalton. Beloved wife of the late Curtis G. Dear mother of Gary C. (Kathy), and the late Larry T., and Perry W. Dear grandmother of Canace Lydon, Sandy Albrecht, Laurie Cucuzza, Perry Jr., Sam, Harley, and Shane. Great grandmother of 14 and great-great grandmother of 3 ½. Sister of the late Vernor W. Thorn and Beatrice V. Sister-in-law and brother-in-law Barbara and Robert Bins (Toledo, OH). Dearest friends Joan Gambert, Fran Fowler, and Billie Cantrell. She was born in Fairmont, W.V. on April 16, 1926 and married in Maryland on June 16, 1943. Moved to Cleveland in 1947 and was a resident of Cleveland and Strongsville. Dorotha would like to let you know that her work here is done. She received a call, sort of an offer you can’t refuse, for an appointment from which she will not be returning. This appointment comes with a huge return, a reunion with family and friends she has not seen in a long time. We will remember her smile, her warmth, her energy and her love for life. She made a difference in the lives of many and will be sorely missed. Godspeed, Dorotha. A special thank you for the loving care the nurses provided at the Diplomat Healthcare.
